• Welcome, Good Hope Families!!

It is a pleasure to be the Principal here at Good Hope Elementary. I am proud to be a part of this team with the wonderful staff, students, and family members that are part of it. We will continue to implement AVID Elementary and Project Lead the Way (PLTW).  We will be providing students the opportunity to work collaboratively, think critically, and creatively.  Technology, and the use of iPads, continues to grow as it is incorporated into the daily lessons. Student achievement is a top priority, we will accomplish this through our learning focus areas and continuing to have a safe and welcoming environment for our students. We will celebrate the successes we have and strive to grow each day.

Attendance is an important piece to student achievement. If your child is not here, they miss out. We want every student to receive the education they deserve and we can accomplish this by working together to ensure your child is in school, on time, every day.

Remember, breakfast is from 7:30am to 8am.  It is important that if your child is eating at school that they be here before 8 am.  To ensure students are eating breakfast, we no longer have free play before school, but rather a structured activity like the walking club.  This change comes about to ensure that within the hours of 8 am - 2:15 pm, your child is receiving as much instruction as possible.   At 8am, instruction begins and the campus becomes a closed campus.

As always, we encourage you to be involved in your child's education by becoming a parent volunteer.  Please come by the office to find out about the volunteer requirements or look up the information under our parent tab on Good Hope Elementary School's website.
